Advent. Distraction.

This Advent, as with many other Advents,
busyness
crowds out anticipation from my heart.

This Advent, unlike some other Advents,
worry
crowds out expectation from my mind.

This Advent, I decide I will
choose
to fix my eyes on the One who is my Saviour.

Who rescues me from preoccupation with busyness
and delivers my mind from worry.
